SIX NEW WALKS LEAFLETS PUBLISHED
Six themed walks have been published jointly by Ripon Civic Society and Ripon Ramblers.
NEXT MEETING
The next event is on Thursday 2 February 2012 when Dr Robert McManners, Chairman of Bishop Auckland Civic Society, will speak about 'The Zurburan Paintings at Auckland Castle'. The meeting takes place at Allhallowgate Methodist Church Hall in Ripon, and starts at 7.30pm. All are welcome - guests pay £3.00.
The Society's competition for young photographers on the subject of Quirky Ripon has been voted one of the top Civic Day projects in the Country by Civic Voice. Below is one of the winning pictures.
