NEXT MEETING
The next event is on Thursday 1 March 2012 when Dr Richard Shephard, Dircetor of Development at York Minster, will speak about 'The Restoration of the East Front of York Minster'. The meeting takes place at Allhallowgate Methodist Church Hall in Ripon, and starts at 7.30pm. All are welcome - guests pay £3.00.
SIX NEW WALKS LEAFLETS PUBLISHED
Six themed walks have been published jointly by Ripon Civic Society and Ripon Ramblers.
The Society's competition for young photographers on the subject of Quirky Ripon has been voted one of the top Civic Day projects in the Country by Civic Voice. Below is one of the winning pictures.
